Lyrics & Translations
Luvuci Au
Love me, my thoughts return to those times
When tender words would softly rise from loving lips
When we stood as one
and you thought of me
Oh, how my life was blessed
When you stood beside me
You showed the beauty of your promises
I hoped to hold them in their glory
You treated me with tenderness
then deceived me
You've shattered my life
I opened myself to heal you
but the pain remains
and disappears without a trace
Amor Eterno
You are the sadness in my eyes
That silently cry for your love
I look at myself in the mirror and see in my face
The time I've suffered since your goodbye
I force my mind to forget you
But I'm always thinking about the past
I'd rather be asleep than awake
'Cause it hurts so much that you're not
How I wish, oh
That you were alive
And that your little eyes had never closed
And that I could still be looking at them
Eternal and unforgettable love
Sooner or later, we'll be together to keep loving each other
I've suffered so much from your absence
Since that day until now, I haven't been happy
And though my conscience is at peace
I know I could've done more for you
The dark loneliness I'm living through
Is the same loneliness as your grave
You are the love from which I hold
The saddest memory of Acapulco
How I wish, oh
That you were alive
And that your little eyes had never closed
And that I could still be looking at them
Eternal and unforgettable love
Sooner or later, we'll be together to keep loving each other
La Mia Stella
Look up to that star, my father said.
Follow its light, it will lead you into a world without wars,
where you will be free to play.
Come on my son, close your eyes, and see if you can dream.
I am cold, my father said.
Look out for the wave; it will come back.
In this boat adrift in the sea,
who knows how many nights we will have to wait
for a new world, a new life.
See how big the wave is, my father said.
Hold on tight!
It will not sweep you away as it did your mother,
who now sleeps on the bottom of the sea.
Do not open your mouth, my son, and do not breathe.
I'm going to join your mother, my father said.
You are a big boy now and you can stay.
I know you won't be afraid
and soon will find another land, world,
and another life will begin.
And my star up in the sky,
will soon send a savior for us all.

Tonight is unforgettable.
Tonight is unforgettable.
It does not matter if you are in the farthest corner of the land or sea.
We are in the same arms of our vast country.
Together we wish for the well being of our homeland.
We wish for the well being of our homeland.
We wish for the well being of our homeland.
Farewell tonight.
Farewell tonight.
It does not matter if we are old friends or new ones.
We will meet again next spring.
The green mountains will still be there.
People will still be young, still be young.
