Join us for a workshop led by Lonnie Norwood, Director of Africana Studies, open to college students studying music education as well as current music educators, musicians and teaching artists. Sing, study, and celebrate traditional and folk music that preserves communal values and cultural meaning making practices unique to the lived experiences of African people.
