A Summit for Equity in Choral Music Education

We All Live Here is a music education summit that prepares current and future educators to lead increasingly diverse and dynamic choral music programs.

Featuring sessions led by renowned Uniting Voices faculty and culture bearers, We All Live Here will feature workshops that will focus on equity and culturally responsive curriculum, providing attendees with a powerful foundation for making a global society accessible to their students through music education. Many of the workshops will incorporate elementary, middle and high-school singers so that participants can see the magic at work.

We All Live Here will take place in Chicago from July 17-19.

This event is approved for Illinois teachers to earn CPDUs.

We All Live Here will offer an expansive set of sessions that are focused on culturally responsive teaching with a variety of unique and original content. Topics will include, but are not limited to, social emotional learning integration, gender inclusivity, movement and choreography, middle school methods and music of the African Diaspora and Latin America.

Since each workshop is connected to the overall experience, participants will not have to choose between workshops, but will instead attend all workshops with breaks built into the schedule.
