Next stop: Mexico

Uniting Voices Chicago is built on the belief that, through music, we can forge meaningful, empathetic connections with people from every background.

In June of 2024, Uniting Voices Chicago will embark on a tour of Mexico, with stops in Mexico City and Oaxaca. Sixty talented singers from Voice of Chicago will perform in historic venues throughout the country, and participate in the world-renowned Festival Coral Infantil y Juvenil.

Mexico Tour: Voice of Chicago with Coro Jääwën, Voces del Alma in Oaxaca

June 12, 2024 | 6:00 PM | Teatro Macedonio Alcalá (Av. de la Independencia 900, Centro, 68000 Oaxaca de Juárez) Voice of Chicago presents a collaborative concert with Coro Jääwën, Voces del Alma, which is part of a network of choirs under the Sistema Nacional de Fomento Musical by Conaculta, in Oaxaca on Wednesday, June 12.

Del Carmen, Coyoacán, CP 04100, Mexico City) Uniting Voices Chicago will participate in a workshop and performance as part of the Festival Coral Infantil y Juvenil at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México on Saturday, June 15, at 6pm.
